Engineering responsibilities over BEPS Steering Gear Assembly and Injection Molding.

Helped install new investment assembly line.

Troubleshoot machine problems occurring on the line and worked with Quality and Production to resolve quality and efficiency issues.

Designed and developed small part containers, fixtures, and replacement parts.

Set up spare parts list, PM scheduling for Injection mold dies and machines.

Develop and designed a vision system for final packing.

Production Supervisor April 11, 2015 – August 27, 2015

Supervised over 13 operators, 1 team lead, 3 maintenance mechanics, and 2 maintenance electricians.

Responsible for running production up to 7 forging presses, 3 shot peening machines, 3 cutters, 12 lathes, 8 induction heaters, and 8 drills.

Manufacturing /Forging Engineer September 15, 2014 – April 10, 2015

Engineering responsibilities over 9” Forging Upsetter Press, Shot Blasting Machines and Lathe Machine Cell.

Researched and put together a project to replace cooling towers in the Forge shop.

Worked with forging supervisors, operators, quality engineers, automation engineers, and maintenance mechanics and electricians in troubleshooting quality problems, process efficiencies, and machine problems.

Managed tooling packaging and shims that go in my respected forging upsetters press.

Visited customers to inspect product.

Revamped the forging departments Process Flow Diagrams and PFMEAs.

Help redesign tooling to increase life expectancy

Help manage the teardown, rebuild, and startup of a forging upsetter press.
