Quality Engineer
Case/New Holland, Wichita, KS (Feb 2014 – Present) As a Quality Engineer I am responsible for performing internal process audits, identify improvements and drive corrective actions using WCM tools. As a part of the Quality team I support current product management using root cause analysis and monitor Quality objectives and provide feedback with relevant reports.
Managed certification line that was instrumental in the launch of a new model line.
Ensure timely and effective review of Quality issues and report results using the WCM tools and processes.
Analyze and troubleshoot process control issues.
Responsible for interacting with all levels of management as well as production personnel ensuring Quality in all processes.
Plant Manager
Siemens Energy Service SCM, Woodward, OK (Aug 2010 – Dec 2013) As the Manager of the Midwest Distribution Center, I was responsible for all activities within the Distribution Center to include Receiving, Shipping and Warranty Return Operations. I worked directly with other managers both with the Service SCM as well as Operations.
Responsible for reviewing and updating LSP/WI for all operations within the Distribution Center.
Instrumental in achieving 90.2% On Time Delivery from 62% in 3 months.
Completed 3 Lean activities within the Distribution Center to improve material flow.
Quality Assurance Manager
Siemens Energy, Hutchinson, KS
As a Quality Assurance Manager I was responsible for ensuring the quality of the product, coming into the facility as well as the final product leaving the facility. I managed the daily operations of the Quality Department which includes; Incoming Inspection, Final Inspection and Calibration. I interfaced daily with senior managers, peers, and hourly employees to resolve quality issues that could affect production goals.
Instrumental as project team member in developing a Material Review Board process that allowed the plant to realize in excess of 70% return from vendors on non- conformance material.
Cited for a “Best Practice” during the plants initial internal audit for establishing a training program and monitoring training for the Quality Department.
Responsible for writing the Local Specific Procedure for training for the plant in response to an ISO 9001 audit finding as well as being the plant point of contact with Wind University for training.
Field Quality Supervisor
International BioResources, Lafayette, LA (Jan 2008 – Jan 2010) As a Field Quality Supervisor I was responsible for providing Quality Assurance Support to Centers that may have compliance issues. I assisted Quality Managers and Quality Directors in assessing, mentoring and training Center Quality staff. I assisted in preparing Centers for both internal and external audits as well as responding to audit findings.
Selected for long term assignment as part of a Quality/Operations team to revamp Center that had been unsuccessful in attaining required production goals.
Responsible for writing or reviewing and monitoring approximately 70 exception reports for effective CAPA through the months of March to July 2009.
