Project: Golden Sands Contractors, South Carolina 9/14 to present
Title: Construction Superintendent
Duties: Supervising 50 employees on a day to day operations. Responsible for overseeing all
phases of construction of steel reinforced concrete Domes.
Project: Bechtel-Watts Barr Power Plant, Tennessee 9/12 to 8/14

Duties: Supervisor for the coordination and scheduling of conduit and wire pulling. I am responsible
for interfacing with engineering, creating designs for electrical and I & C.

Project: Coachella Valley School District, California 8/05 to 7/11
Title: Director of Construction and Operations
Duties: Responsible for overseeing twenty-one schools, 75 employees and contractors.
Duties included planning, scheduling, design and construction. Directed
maintenance department and contractors in day-to-day operations. The six
years I was with the district, we re-built seven of the existing schools.
Construction consisted of new structures, electrical, communications, HVAC,
fire protection and parking lots. (Budget $54 million)
Project: View Point Management Group, California 8/01 to 6/05
Title: Senior Construction Manager
Duties: Responsible for overseeing all phases of construction of a K-12 school in Coachella
Valley, California. Duties included planning, scheduling and managing 350
contractors. The project consisted of twenty-seven structures, three large parking
lots and several baseball and soccer fields. The project was completed one year
ahead of schedule. (Budget $200 million)
Project: General Motors Corp; Michigan/California 8/98 to 8/01
Title: Construction Manager and Consultant
Duties: Rebuilt test facilities in Milford, Michigan. Construction consisted of an eight
story office facility, parking structure that housed two hundred test vehicles.
On completion of contract was sent to Los Angeles, California to work for
Burlington Northern Railroad for construction and startup of locomotive
maintenance yard. Duties included directing contractors and subcontractors with
crews of 90 personnel. The project consisted of building two structures that housed
twelve locomotives. (Budget $30 million)
Project: National Semiconductor, Portland, Maine 3/96 to 6/98
Title: Senior Construction Manager
Duties: Responsible for overseeing crews of 150 personnel. Duties included
rebuilding facilities, infrastructure, clean room, planning and scheduling
of all phases of construction. (Budget $ 30 million)
Project: John Brown-Merck and Company, Georgia 11/95 to 3/96
Title: Project Manager and Consultant
Duties: Responsible for construction of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
Overseeing subcontractors of 155 personnel for total completion of
contract. (Budget $37 million)
Project: Raytheon-Watts Barr Power Plant, Tennessee 9/93 to 9/95
Title: Supervisor/Startup
Duties: Supervisor for the coordination and scheduling of maintenance work orders,
work requests and design plans for construction and plant maintenance
departments. These activities were scheduled and tracked utilizing Project 2
(P2), Maintenance Planning and Control (MPAC) and Maintenance Tracking
System (MTS) computer scheduling programs. Also responsible for the final erection
and startup of eight (8) MKW-Power System (EMD-GM) Series 645, 20 cylinder,
turbo-charged diesel engines. The diesel sets are configured with two (2) engines
driving a single 4400 KW generator. Conducted various seminars for Startup
Engineers and Lead Startup Engineers to ensure compliance with requirements
Of NQA-1 (ANSI-45.2.6).
Project: Bechtel-Newmont Gold, Nevada 1/93 to 9/93
Title: Construction Manager/Startup
Duties: Directed activities of field personnel associated with the startup of water
treatment and reclamation barges. Supervision included troubleshooting of
fiber-optic control systems, 4160 VAC transformers, switchyard and numerous
support systems. Responsible for flushing of all system piping from the primary
water source to the leech pads. Directed the installation of seventy (70) miles of
process piping from the main reservoir of two (2) sub-stations to the main process
facility. Conducted design series lectures on system inter-relating to mechanical,
electrical, instrumentation and control drawings. Coordinated and supervised
the reconstruction of roads, bridges and dams to support the installation of
the above mentioned activities.
Project: Bechtel-Comanche Peak Power Plant Unit 2, Texas 1/91 to 1/93
Title: Startup Supervisor
Duties: Directed personnel in scoping of electrical and mechanical boundary
drawings. Developed and assigned each component unique system or
sub-system designator. Coordinated the turnover of systems from
construction to startup, testing and final acceptance by the client’s
Operations Department. Additionally responsible for updating of various site
computer databases for tracking components/system status during testing
activities. Also conducted numerous training seminars pertaining to civil construction,
high and low voltage testing and fire protection prevention in accordance with
the requirements of NFPC.
Project: Nine-Mile Point Generating Station, New York 2/90 to 1/91
Title: Project Manager and Consultant
Duties: Responsibilities included the supervision of Engineering and Testing personnel
Assigned to the Appendix R and Fire Protection project. Directed the design,
review and analysis of the emergency Electrical Power Distribution System in
accordance with 10-CFR- Appendix “R” compliance. Conducted and directed
cable separation analysis for various Emergency Shutdown systems to ensure
compliance with applicable design criteria and associated codes and standards.
Conducted an advanced course in project management, high voltage, fire
protection, mechanical and electrical interpretation of drawing codes and
standards.
