PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
I have over twenty years of experience in human services a strong communicator, experience with direct contact with adolescents and adults diagnosed with mental disorders such as schizophrenia, personality disorder, oppositional defiant disorders, ADHD, conduct disorder, PTSD, depressive disorder, bipolar in addition to co-occurring mental disorder and substance use disorders. I have a good understanding of cultural diversity issues an extensive experience as a group leader. I am qualified and experience with residential, intensive outpatient care, day treatment, and correctional facilities, methadone maintenance, detoxification treatment, as well as transitional housing, in addition experience in crisis communications, individual and group therapy by implementing evidence -based practices. CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
Comprehensive Treatment Center, Washington, DC February 2015-November 2015
Outpatient behavioral health program, employed as counselor. Responsibilities include services for adults diagnosed with co-occurring disorders and substance use disorders. Assess psychological and sociological background of clients to contribute to the appropriate treatment plan and monitor client’s progress. Conduct care coordination, treatment planning, psychotherapy group, client advocacy, crisis intervention and aftercare planning.
