Cleaning from sweeping, mopping, dust mop, high dusting vets and surfers, clean & shine stainless steel, vacuuming carpets, emptying trash cans all on the main floor.
Perform heavy lifting from tables, chairs, lockers, furniture, and safe. moving to another location or if they were trash taking it to the dumpster.
Run the T5 scrubber machine on the floor to shine it up on daily bases. I put 2 wet floor signs so that people can walk carefully through the floor without slipping while I work on the floor.
On the daily bases I check Janitor closet to see if we need supplies like paper towels, toilet paper, mop heads, dust mops, and vacuum. Making sure the closet kept clean & organist.
Directing fellow coworkers what they need to do and ask to get done quick and if not sure what we need to do ill call a supervisor for some help knowing who doing who.
Know how to use the radio for calls for spills and area needs cleaning like seating areas and bathrooms. Or if don’t have a radio the supervisor gives me a call on the phone to tell me where needs to be clean.
When winter comes I’m part the snow team for snow storms. Shovel snow on the sidewalk to the streets to make paths for people that can walk and spread salt on the ground.
Worked outdoors during all seasons from taking trash bins to the compacter, swept trash and dust on grounds.
