11/14/2004-7/3/2014 Heavy Equipment Mechanic:

Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and modifications to tactical

tracked vehicles, towed and self-propelled howitzers, diesel power

generators, tank retrievers, earth moving equipment, mobile and

material handling equipment, light vehicles and trucks. Also

perform maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on family

of “Stryker” Vehicles. Conduct maintenance tasks on the variations

of the Abrams Tanks (M1A1 ED, M1A2 SEP V2) vehicles and also

apply maintenance techniques for the Abrams Fleet Vechicles.

Also inspect, diagnosis, and repair fuel, hydraulic, and electrical

systems on multiple types of vehicles.

Major duties to include engine and transmission overhaul, brake

adjustment and replacement, tune ups, fluid and filter replacement,

battery replacement, tire rotation and changes, repair and adjustment

of power and mechanical steering systems, and interior and exterior

cleaning of vehicles.

Skilled in the use of multiple hand tools, special diagnostic tools,

Micrometers, gauges, and alignment devices.

Follow standard operation procedures and comply with OSHA and

EPA.
