Over ** years subsea project engineering, construction, operations management experience of which the majority has been in marine projects including construction of offshore rigid & flexible pipelines, subsea installations, IMR, pre-commissioning, marine base/fabrication yard coordination and personnel training. Responsible for operations management and coordination of the project onshore fabrication and offshore installations daily activities including subsea PLEMs, PLETs, jumpers fabrication and testing as well as pipelay, umbilical lay, SITs, loadout, schedule reviews, subcontractors and third party vessels operations management.

oOnshore Construction Manager for Noble Energy Mediterranean Ltd - Tamar and NOA Subsea Field Development Projects. Responsible for overall 22 each subsea rigid jumpers (c/w FMC and Cameron hubs) and other associated subsea structures fabrication, hydro testing and load-out control in the third party subcontractor’s facilities. Oversee construction and transportation activities, client interface management, HSE compliance, day to day reporting etc.

oOffshore Operations Manager for BP America, Atlantis SS2 DC1 – DC3 Project – Offshore GOM, USA. Responsible for project operations and construction management onboard BOA SUB C where scope of work was decommissioning and recovery of existing PLEMs and jumpers (c/w FMC connection hubs) and installation/testing of the new subsea structures at 2100 meters water depth.

Subsea Installation Engineer for new subsea field development on 370 m water depth tied back to shore. The scope of work by diverless techniques includes structure installation, flexible and umbilical lay and 20” pipeline to manifold tie-in.

Multiple IRM works for BP / BG UK in the North Sea

Project Engineer for IRM activities onboard DSV Orelia servicing BP & BG North Sea facilities in the fields such a Cyrus, Farragon, Centrica Rose, Minerva, Mercury etc. where typical scope of work was wellheads/trees SCMs replacements, subsea manifolds maintenances, EFL/HFLs replacements, SUTA tests, commissioning, earth leakage fault repairs, well protection frame corrosion probes checking, pipeline sections/spools TOFD and SONOMATIC scans and more. The average working water depth was 120m to 200m.

BP 36” CATS pipeline damage reinstatement (North Sea, UK)

Project Engineer for 36” gas pipeline anchor damage inspection, scanning, clamp design, fabrication and installation using the DSV Orelia diving support and ROVs.

BP West Sole field maintenance (North Sea, UK)

Project Engineer onboard CSO Wellservicer for over 30 off new anode bracelets installation on BP West Sole Bravo platform jacket structure and risers inspections on West Sole Alpha platform.

Texaco North Sea UK, Captain FPSO thrusters change out (North Sea, UK)

Project engineering support for 2ea thruster’s change out for the Captain FPSO using the combination of Air and Sat divers from DSV.

Responsible for engineering studies, fabrication plans and procedures development, MTO preparation, procurement assistance day to day reports, client interfacing as well as fabrication yard coordination during the;

Fabrication and hydrotest of Subsea Rigid Spools, Manifolds, SSIV, NRV (Check Valve) assemblies.

Fabrication of 30” & 28” Subsea WYE pieces c/w ROV friendly ball valves, flange joint protectors, shrouds and mud mats.

Fabrication of 6” to 30”dia Subsea Pipelines’ Installation Aids, Start up and Laydown/ Pulling heads, Pig launchers & receivers, A&R heads, etc

Barge and Vessels Upgrades:

Responsible for field engineering and subcontractor activities control during the Barge and Vessels modifications/upgrades.

“Israfil Huseynov” Pipe-Lay Barge (S-Lay) Upgrade project.

19.5 meter dia 90T weight steel structure New Helicopter Deck fabrication, installation onboard PLB including firefighting, saturation, lightning systems hook up and testing.

Pipe Haul Vessels Upgrade. (6 off) Modification of third party Cargo Vessels to meet pipe shipping requirements including the fabrication and installation of new bollards, panama fairleads, hand railings etc. complying with RMRS and DNV approved codes.

Lifting and Load-out Coordination

Responsible for preparation of lift /loadout plans for oversized rigid spools and other subsea structures.

Controlling the various diameters pipe load-out operations onto the PHVs for offshore PLB supply at Pipe Coating and Storage (EUPEC) base.
