PROFILE

Having been experience working as an HSE Site Lead for Oil and Gas, Power Plant, Pipelines, Infrastructure, Buildings and Port Container Terminals projects. Job Descriptions:

Responsible for all HSE activities in site including buildings and infrastructure activities and all surrounding areas

Maintaining inspection program and report findings and recommendation to HSE deputy manager for operations.

Inspects work conditions and practices. Includes checking conditions of facilities, PMV equipment and tools, identifying safety hazards, reviewing work operations and practices and preparing reports in SH&E hazards with appropriate recommendations for corrective action.

Scope of Work

Construction and commissioning of Acid Gas Removal and 14.5 KM pipeline in Dukhan.

Ensure the compliance of Qatar Petroleum safety standards and permit to work system are consistently and comprehensively deployed on site for work carried out inside live areas by constant monitoring, inspection, investigation and conducting onsite training and maintaining documentation, equipments and gas detector records adhered to QP HSE PLAN.

Investigate accidents and incidents. Documenting the injuries; detailed the events leading to, during, and after the accident; and recommendations to control hazards.

Identified, recommended, and implemented ergonomic changes to reduce health and safety hazards.

Participate in inspections and audits as per the HSE plan, monitor the frequency of these and follow up to ensure that allocated corrective measures are taken.

Disseminate any information on the learning points following incidents that occur in AGRP and in other companies.

Ensuring that the emergency equipment and emergency procedures are adequate to control an emergency situation. Conduct regular drills and exercises to test these and the emergency response of personnel.

QGX PROJECT

Construction and commissioning of two process trains with a capacity on 7.8 mtpa each, substations, instrument technical rooms, slug catcher and inlet facilities works executed around the projects were mechanical works, incorporating fabrication, installation of equipment, piping system, painting, civil works, fireproofing, hot and cold insulation, electrical and instrumentation.

QCS PROJECT

Construction and commissioning of 2 sulphur recovery units, 2 process trains, slug catcher, inlet facilities, effluent, utilities, substation and instrument technical rooms.

Provided proactive safety approached to world’s largest LNG projects with 4 trains having a production capacity of 7.8 million tonnes per annum (MTA) capacity each. Monitored and prevented potential workplace safety hazards through routine inspections; effective implementation of policies & procedures; and investigating and reporting accidents, incidents, unsafe actions & conditions recommends corrective action.

Participate weekly management and area leadership team walkthrough

Carry out atmospheric testing for confined spaces in sulphur recovery unit (QGXII project)

Undertake daily inspection tours in area of responsibility to ensure implementation of, and adherence to, the procedures set out in the HSE Site Plan, Group HSE Manual and any additional project specific requirements.

Take necessary action to rectify breaches of procedures or newly identified hazards, to ensure safe working conditions. Refers more complex issues to a more senior HSE authority.

Complete daily activity reports, bringing to attention actions taken on identified matters of concern and issues requiring resolution by higher authority.

Liaise with and advise construction representatives of all disciplines to ensure full understanding of and adherence to HSE standards.

Supervises activities and assesses performance to ensure complete understanding of HSE standards.

Participate in rotation programs and attends formal training to further develop HSE expertise in all areas of project activity.

Maintain records on non compliance reports.

Advise about prevention of injury to personnel and damage to plant and equipment.

Advise about further improvements in existing working methods.

Advise about suitability from a safety viewpoint of new and hired plant and equipment and validity of all appropriate test certificates.

Advise about suitability standards of protective clothing and equipment

Identify potential hazards on new tasks before work commences and take action to have it rectified

Supervise and report the recording, analysis of information on injuries, damage and production loss, access accident trends and review overall safety performances.
