Project Manager, CITY CARE (Christchurch, New Zealand), Jul 2014 – Sep 2015
Multi-discipline Construction Company; 2015 revenue NZ$334m and ~1500 employees.
Project manager on four projects for Earthquake Rebuild Project Values: NZ$0.5 to NZ$6M.
Main duties:
• Manage daily site activities including all staff, designers and subcontractors across all projects.
• Prepare weekly / monthly programs and cost forecasts, ensuring works remain on schedule & on budget.
• Liaise with client, chairing weekly meeting, prepared and issued progress claims and invoices.
• Provide report and presentation monthly to CEO & senior management team for all projects.
• Prepared and negotiated all procurement of suppliers and subcontractors, managing invoice and claims.
Achievements:
• Delivered Tay St Pump Station ahead of flooding to client and community satisfaction.

Project Engineer, CATCON (Various, Australia), May 2012 – May 2014
Privately owned, have delivered >75% of wind farms in Australia for international clients.
Project Engineer for Snowtown Wind Farm and Royalla Solar Farm; project values A$50M & A$10M.
Main Duties:
• Program and manage daily works for earthworks, stormwater, below ground DC cabling, above ground DC cabling, earthing, substation construction, road building, asphalting, landscaping and subcontractors.
• Enforced rigiourous QA documentation & supervision, liaised with clerk of works to ensure specifications and quality requirements were meet. Completed commissioning documentation for regulators.
• Prepared safety documentation & audited construction activities.
Achievements:
• Built Australia’s largest Wind Farm and Australia’s First & Largest Commercial Solar Farm.
• Assisted CFS on three occassions to reducing bus fire damage to local farmers property.
• Liaised with 24 landowners completing works to achieve win-win for all.
• Achieved a 3months ahead of schedule delivery date on Snowtown Wind Farm.
• Lead daily pre-start safety briefing to ~110 staff on Royalla Solar Farm.
• Coordinated works to satisfaction of three local indigenous group’s on Snowtown Wind Farm.

Self-employed consultant awarded first tendered contract and given two back-to-back extensions to deliver various government sustainable transport initiatives; project values A$0.2M to A$24M.
Main Duties:
• Project management from concept to handover, including managing staff, designers and contractors.
• Prepared and negotiated all procurement of suppliers and contractors, managing invoice and claims.
• Liaised regularly with regulators and authorities to fast track and streamline project approvals.
• Audited safety and quality documentation & onsite construction activities.
• Prepared and managed project costs, including a live to date cost forecast and cash flow position.

• Won the Landscape Architecture Award 2012 for the Bourke Street Separated Cycleway.

National design, construction and land development company, > 1,700 staff throughout Australia.
Project Engineer for business expansion to new geographical location to deliver subdivisions and streetscape upgrades for new clients.

• Manage daily site activities including all staff, designers and subcontractors across all teams.
• Procurement of >10 new subcontractors and many new supplier agreements.
• Programmed two consecutive projects of over 80 workers onsite for a duration of 14months.
