Successfully designed, fabricated and tested a single stage shipboard freshwater generator as a final year project. (December 2015)
Team leader of the all interns attached at Iberafrica Power Limited, between February and April 2015, voted as the best team of interns in the power plant.
Prepared time schedule for engineering students attached at Southern Engineering Company, which is in use up to date.
Overhauled and ran sea trials successful for the main engine of MV Petra at Southern Engineering for Alpha Group Africa.

Work Experience
1. Iberafrica Power (EA) Limited Marine Engineering Intern From February to April 2015
Main duties performed:
Interns team leader, responsible for organizing the interns’ activities and reporting to the management.
Responsible for starting, stopping and controlling Power Generating engines as an assistant engineer on the SCADA system.
Maintained 7.4 MW Wartsila W20V32 engines and 5.2 MW Niigata engines, following all standards laid down by the manufacturers.
Performed preventive maintenance, involving mechanical daily and weekly checks for the engines and the auxiliary systems.
Conducted root cause analysis for the Wartsila W20V32 engines. 2. Southern Engineering Company Marine Engineering Intern From January to April 2014
Main duties performed:
Performed duties of assistant project manager, with bias to practical work and report writing for ship based ongoing and completed projects.
Worked in all engineering departments, learning procedures in each and every workshop, with aim of smoothening operations.
Effectively docked ships on the floating dock and monitored repairs on the floating dock under the works manager.
Worked with a team of design engineers and marine engineers to troubleshoot and perform emergency and scheduled engine overhauls and coordinated sea trials.
Worked with teams of quality engineers and project coordinators to test the quality of fabricated products before delivery to the owners. Skills
