As a member of the software development test team was responsible for Identifying requirements, developing test plans and writing test cases for both internal and external testing. Primary responsibility was running test cases from early integration testing through all stages of verification test cycles and final validation testing and both in-house and on-site certification.

Responsible for testing all aspects of analog, digital, HD voice and DECT Voice as it applies to a first generation Comcast cable gateways

Completed in-house P&E Battery life certification testing, Home Security testing, basic and advance Cable Modem Web pages including 6 new home security status web pages. Performed both Hardware and Software certification testing from first test sample to final witness testing for the latest cable modems products.

Responsible for Automation and Bulk Call test lab. That did both Ameritech and Spirant bulk call testing for CenturyLink, All Cable modems, Verizon Wireless. Along with developing and running automation test scripts for testing VoIP, Performance and reliability testing.

Was the Software test lead responsible for the maintenance releases for several US Cable modems both in-house testing and controlling third party off shore testing.

Was a member of the Agile team that developed and tested WiFi doctor, a software application only project. Responsible for testing Web pages, WiFi testing, Data base testing from WiFi Doc application to the Qeo cloud Server.

Completed all aspects of testing on a first generation home broadband gateway device for Verizon Wireless. This included all aspects of voice testing both In-house and third party, along with Web page testing, data and Wi-Fi performance testing for Verizon New Home gateway modem.

Fundamental knowledge of cable modem distribution systems, both from the CMTS and IMS distribution system along with a working knowledge of the Cisco cable provisioning system.

Channel One Set top box, was the System test lead from Concept to final validation testing for the new digital Channel One network. This included all new web page development and testing for controlling and updating Channel one software. Along with extensive video testing through all integration, validation testing, and overseeing new hardware modifications along with final hardware device testing.

Was part of the System Test team that successfully validated all the latest HDTV for the US market, along with the digital modules for the international markets.

Worked with MPEG-2 transport bit streams acquiring new bit streams and/or modifying existing streams. Met the needs of TTE testing and development throughout the world.

Updated RF distribution systems from an analog 560 MHz analog signal system to a Digital 860 MHz signal system with more than 40 new digital channels. Designed, acquired and then installed this system

Estimated what it would take to duplicate Thomson RF distribution system, along with projecting what new distribution equipment would be needed if TTE moved to a different location in the city.

As the System Test lead, responsible for a team of testers of 2 to 6 people. The system test teams performed integration, system testing, in-house validation and on-site certification.

System test Lead for the MMDS1 and 3 LookTV project. Also the core team responsible from the set-top’s conception to development through production, and for all software upgrades with the set top box that occurred for the lifetime of the device.

Was a key member of the test team that developed one of the first Digital HDTVs in the US market, along with being responsible for getting the HDTV/DSS set through the first two DIRECTV certifications.

Developed the test matrix, procedures and new tools for testing both the new digital closed captioning and PSIP validation test, then performed this testing for all the HDTV models produced in the US.

Designed and built IR test racks for automating both endurance and longevity testing. .

Was one of a small team from system test responsible for screening, interviewing, then forwarding our recommendations for hiring over 25 new employees for both permanent and contract positions with the system test team.
