PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Case Manager-Southeast Texas Transitional Center: November 2, 2015-Present-Responsible for handling the cases of offenders who are in the process of rehabilitation and transitioning back into society. Responsible for assisting these residents in obtaining the necessary tools for this transition including: employment, assistance programs, education, and/or any other services that will enable them transition into a normal life in order to decrease their chances of recidivism. These services include directing them to service agencies in order for them to obtain medical coverage, employment, mental health assistance, and food/clothing assistance. I also conduct Monthly Progress Reports on these individuals' conduct and success toward their treatment goals. I have also been trained in the intake process of these offenders, which include: breathalyzers, urinalysis, and search procedures of these individuals personally; as well as their living habitations. I am also a part of the orientation team at this establishment which includes conducting periodic orientation of the rules/regulations of the facility, PREA Assessments, and Initial Monthly Progress Reports.

Responsible for the supervision of male and female juvenile residents, along with maintaining a well-structured environment where they are provided with the daily life skills needed in order to advance to an independent living program. Interacted with and counseled youth girls to promote a more healthy behavior due to the effects of residing in several different group homes.

Handled incoming calls and provided general customer service duties to bank customers. Performed banking responsibilities to include balancing cash drawers and vaults; opened and closed accounts and safety deposit boxes; cross-sold bank products; balanced and filled ATM machines; and handled special projects that involved computing excess and shortage balances for staff. Professionally resolved difficult issues regarding client complaints and other matters.
