Finding Most Influential Papers Based on DBLP Citation Network dataset using Weighted PageRank Algorithm: (March 2016 - May 2016)

Extracted the links from the dataset using Java MapReduce program along with a customized InputFormat that read all the information for each paper and passed it to the map function with the help of TextInputFormat.

Used Amazon Elastic MapReduce (EMR) to execute the MapReduce program.

Developed Hive scripts to compute the top 10 papers with the highest page rank.

CRUD Operations Involving Doctors/Patients Information: (March 2016 - May 2016)

Designed and developed several REST APIs supporting both XML and JSON data formats to perform tasks such as creating, reading, updating and deleting doctors/patients information in JAVA(JAX-RS) using Jersey.

Developed on Tomcat for a WebLogic deployment. Tools included Ant.

Finding Twitter symmetric social relations: Developed a MapReduce job using EMR(Elastic MapReduce) to fetch twitter feeds from twitter dataset(25GB) and insert it to hive database.

Secondary Sorting: Developed and executed a MapReduce program that implements a secondary sorting on Fully Distributed Mode to produce latest timestamp for each request URI from the input file that contains access history to a webpage.

Online Shopping System: Developed an online shopping web application using HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL database.
