Introduction

My professional work experience was obtained in Sacramento, California where I was born and raised. Before moving to Nevada I was employed with the State of California for 14 years where I progressed through the ranks of Assistant to Specialist in several different roles. I moved to Las Vegas Nevada in June of 2015 with the objective to build a solid career foundation here as I have in Sacramento. My knowledge, skills and abilities are diverse and adaptable to many areas and my standard of work ethics and professionalism will add priceless value to any organization.

Experience

Garnishment Specialist, Diamond Resorts International 2015- Present

Responsible for processing all incoming wage withholding orders, amendments and releases. Maintains various tracking spreadsheets to monitor accurate and timely payment of orders. Other office duties as required.

Area Recruiter/ Trainer, Washington Inventory Services 2014- 2015

Created job announcements and posted to various job sites on the internet and in County offices to recruit new talent. Scheduled and conducted first and second round interviews. Processed new employee hiring documents and trained new employees.

Personnel Specialist, State of California- Employment Development Dept. 2009- 2015

Managed all functions of Human Resources for a roster of 300+ employees which included; payroll, benefits administration, classification and pay, leave balance maintenance, state disability, workers compensation, family medical leave act, new employee data entry, separations, transfers and retirements, salary increases, range changes and demotions. Maintained a monthly cutoff calendar for deadlines.

Health Record Technician, State of California- Folsom State Prison 2007- 2009

Single point of contact for the Inmate Transfer Desk. Responsible for communicating with prison inmates, correctional officers, prison doctors and Case Records staff with regard to inmate inmate Olson reviews, subpoenas, reviewing, receiving, and transfer of inmate unit health record.

Program Technician II, State of California- Housing and Redevelopment Agency 2004- 2007

Call center representative, front desk receptionist and registration and titling clerk. Processed cash and personal check payments for registration of new modular homes, mobile homes and trailers. Scheduled home inspections for the Representative II’s and park inspections for the Ombudsman when resident complaints were made. Volunteered for on site registration clinics at various mobile home parks around California for customers who were otherwise unable to conduct their business in person at the Department.
