Academic Projects
Structural Assessment and Analysis of TVC Hydraulic System Flight Filter Manifold ASU, Tempe, USA
Analyzed a TVC Hydraulic System Flight Filter Manifold in ANSYS for different conditions for safe working and obtained Margin of Safety and Fatigue Damage ratios. Performed a Design of Experiment analysis to obtain optimum fillet radius by varying mass and stress under a given range.
CFD analysis of two dimensional fluid flows ASU, Tempe, USA
Programmed a Navier-Stokes equation solver using fractional step method on a staggered mesh in MATLAB and solved the equations of a two dimensional fluid flow containing an dye in the fluid to determine the level of non-mixing.
Volume Velocity Processing algorithm for wind retrieval from single-Doppler LIDAR data ASU, Tempe, USA
Developed the VVP wind retrieval algorithm code using MATLAB. Validated the code by running it for a simulated wind field data and conducted an error analysis of the results. Applied the VVP algorithm for actual single-Doppler LIDAR data to get a spatial contour plot of the wind velocity.
Transient Heat transfer analysis of Longitudinal fins ASU, Tempe, USA
Analyzed transient heat transfer in longitudinal fins and the effect of different fin profiles on the fin performance and fin efficiencies in case of electronic cooling applications. Used Matlab and Abaqus software for the analysis.
Analysis of stress and displacement of a cantilever beam element ASU, Tempe, USA
Carried out analysis to determine Von-mises stress and displacement of a beam element. Used Matlab for determining the solution plots and Abaqus for validating the Matlab results.
Study, Design and Manufacturing of “Hand Injection Mould” CTTC, Bhubaneswar, India
Designed and fabricated a hand injection mould prototype for key ring using AutoCAD and CNC Machining.
