Kennel Manager/Vet Tech

Downtown Animal Hospital - Lake Charles, LA - July 2015 to May 2016 Job Duties: I was the person responsible for coming up front and greeting each client and taking their animals back. I spoke with each client about the feeding habits and sleeping ways of each animal. I was responsible for feeding every cat, dog, bird,

chicken, duck and squirrel that came to the clinic. I ran the kennel part of the clinic myself. I made sure all animals had proper diets and medicine. I reported all findings of worms, throw up and unusual bowels to doctors. I was responsible for any and all kennel maintenance inside and outside. I gave all bathes including Lyme Dip, Pharmased, and Bleach Rinse. I was also responsible to make sure the kennels was properly cleaned and sanitized. I kept the food order up, food dishes, towels and blankets. Any supplies that was needed throughout the clinic I was to inventory and order. While working weekend's if an emergency came in I assisted the doctor on call. Reason for no longer being there, Dr. Carter sold the clinic and the new Dr. has no company layout nor plan in place.
