Bio diesel from algae –the main concept of this project is how diesel can be created from the algae which is so called as green coal is used for the engines to reduce the pollution in the atmosphere. The whole process is studied and concluded the techniques which has to be used to increase the usage rate of bio-algae in future.

Design and analysis of a flywheel- studied the fracture point of the flywheel where it is overstressed due to its rotation and minimized the cost by considering the material indexes based on the energy storage and the thermal properties.

Design of Driving Mechanism in endoscopic instrument for surgical applications- designed the instrument such that its fixes the clip on the human body by using stapler action without any damages to the human body. The materials which are used in manufacturing should be compatible and must bear the stresses and pressures. Future improvements are analyzed.

High speed automated mechanical system to cut and bend a bronze wire- Designed a roller mechanism to straighten the wire. Few techniques are assumed to straighten the wire perfectly.

Design and analysis of lifting beam- Using Finite element method, nonlinear static analysis is carried out in solid works and tested the beam under assumed loading conditions. Designed a beam for uniformly distributed load and tests are done to know the fracture points.

Design and study of a running shoe- Studied the properties of several materials chosen for the shoe. The shoe is designed to reduce the transition speed by easing up the lacing and foot of entry in the shoe.

Paraplegic equestrian saddle- The purpose of this project is to minimize the cost of the materials used for saddle and improve the safety features.

Solar street lamp- Improvised the concept of capturing maximum amount of solar energy. Referring the older concepts of trapping the solar energy introduced a new method of observing more amount of solar energy without any wastage.

Spacecraft electronic packaging- The purpose of this research was to know the vibration loading acting upon the electronic packaging on which the total functioning of the spacecraft is based, consists of PCB’S, vibration plates to control the vibrations. Minimize the vibrations acting upon the packaging. Modelled and analyzed in solid works and stiffness springs are added to the packaging to minimize the vibrations and stresses.
