In my current position as Facilities Manager 3 with the State of Tennessee located in Arlington, TN. I am charged with the Maintenance and Management of DIDD Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Our facility is approximately 300.000 sq. We have just completed an HVAC project where we replaced 2 boilers, 2 chillers, cooling tower and all new pumps with VFD. Total cost of this project was 4.5 million. I was the lead on this project reviewing plans and specifications as well as conducting construction progress meetings with Architects, Engineers, Primary Contractor, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers. I enjoy taking a project from inception to completion and staying under budget. My department is also charged with all repair and maintenance needs for the Arlington Campus which is our main structure plus 34 individual homes in the Memphis area. These homes serve as residences for our special clients. I am Very familiar with all Life Safety codes, Federal regulations, State and Local regulations for Health Care Facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Supervisory

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

Direct the daily scheduling and supervision of Maintenance staff and Custodial staff.

All material ordering and inventory control.

Oversee the quality and completion of large scale projects by outside contractors

Establish and maintain budgets and long range planning

Very involved with DIDD safety committee.

Building inspection for repair projects and contractor compliance.

All scheduling of projects and co-ordination for each project.

Prepare Capitol budgets and maintenance department budget.

Commercial Construction Inspection and Management

Plan and specification review, bid requirements, contractor requirements and contractor selection.

Management/Administration

Directed employee hiring, testing, training and evaluation

Analyzed competitive products for best value.

Familiar with Building Codes, Plumbing Codes, Electrical Codes

Familiar with all Life Safety Codes, Federal, State and local regulations.
