Presently working as HSE TRAINER IN INTERNATIONAL PORT SERVICES CO. LTD. (Hutchings port holdings) AT DAMMAM CONTAINER TERMINAL, SAUDI ARABIA from Mar 2014 till to date. Worked as Fire and Safety officer at COSTA CRUISE LINES, GENOVA, ITALY from June 2004 to 2011 and also have 15Years of accomplished experience in INDIAN NAVY from 1989 to 2004 in fire, Health and Safety operations at different environments (Office Administration, Security Administration, and Man Management, Fire Organization, Aid to civil power, Conversant with International standards of OSHA and NEBOSH.)

Mar 2014 to till to date- HSE Trainer: - International Port services Company LTD, Dammam Port, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

Assisting HSE Manager to implement HSE Plans;

Identification of Health and Safety Training needs, and monitor the delivery;

Implementation of approved Health and safety training objectives;

Designing of HSE training program for all staff members;

Analysing all site accidents and recommending corrective action when required;

To conduct Audits and HSE general assessment in different activities;

Delivery of specific HSE training and awareness as defined within HSE Training plan and within the necessary observation;

Onsite coaching in transferring classroom theory to practical application;

Trainings on Supervisor’s Safety responsibilities, PTW, LOTO, PPEs, Work at Height, Defensive driving, Handling of all types of Chemical (HAZCOM) Fire evacuation training for Office staff and Terminal staff, Fire and Emergency Action Team training, Operation of Fire Extinguishers/Fire warden training, Fire Watch Training, Riggers refresher Training, Hygiene/Safety Seminar for food handlers etc.), Hygiene/Safety training for Housekeeping staff;

Review inventory of Chemical and fix MSDS Issue;

Issue and control all work permits and maintain log of permit to work system;

Record file and update all employees training records;

Implement and monitor an existing in house training program. This includes the upkeep of an HSE training matrix and identification of HSE trainings needs;

Establish Policies and Procedures Safety manuals in several different languages. Responsible for identifying and implementing risk reduction measures in all areas inside the terminal;

Jun 2004 to Dec 2014 –Fire & Safety – Costa Cruise lines, Genova, Italy

Responsibilities:

Ensure that all personnel arriving on board have been given safety briefing on relevant to the ship / facility safety equipment and emergency response actions and record keeping of those actions;

Supervising of all provided PPE equipment to the workers and training them before using;

Implement, develop and communicate Internships’ Safety, Health and Environmental Policies and procedures and motivate staff in all aspects of policy implementation;

Effectively promote positive safety behaviours and attitudes;

Effectively report details of accidents, incidents and near misses;

Effectively investigate or contribute to investigations of workplace incidents or near misses;

Ensure all training material is on board and accessible to candidates;

Provide training plan and support for Emergency Response personnel as required, Inform new arrivals to the ship regarding procedures, the latest guidelines and relevant SOPs;
