Millennium Management – Treasury / Counterparty Credit Risk April 2012 – Present

Responsible for daily cash management:

Transfer funds between our prime brokerage and segregated cash accounts to mitigate the financing charges

Instruct FX swaps to further reduce the firm’s borrowing costs

Fully implemented a cash management system to assist in these processes

Negotiate rates and terms on our segregated cash accounts in order to comply with Basel III

Submit orders for T-bill purchases

Calculate and monitor the fund’s net exposure to all its counterparties and reconcile to the NAV ($34bn) on a daily basis. Help set exposure limits to all our trading counterparties and ensure they are not being breached; act to remedy if so.

Determine the risk-based capital used by each of the firm’s approximately 185 trading desks each month and distribute this report to senior management.

Produce a balance sheet usage report for our equity trading subsidiaries to assist in optimizing the fund’s footprint across our providers

Track and report the excess liquidity in the fund’s prime brokerage, custody, and bank accounts

Monitor the baseline and overall margin charges at our 9 prime brokers and assist with the moving of securities to decrease margin add-on charges

Liaise and meet with the credit officers of our counterparties on a continual basis to keep them informed of the performance and makeup of the firm.

Responsible for the credit review of potential new trading partners and assist in approving or rejecting these requests

Fortress Investment Group – Treasury June 2009 – November 2011[1]

Oversaw and projected the short and long term liquidity of multiple private-equity style hedge funds via daily and weekly reports. Created the templates used for these reports. Combined NAV of all funds $6bn.

Managed and tracked our available revolving credit line facilities of $350mm across all eligible funds. Responsible for borrowing and paying down the line and allocating debt to the proper entity.

Created and produced monthly cash projection reports using data from Asset Management to make recommendations for investor distributions

Determined when to invest and redeem cash in and out of treasury fund investments

Tracked and ensured proper funding for a multitude of wholly owned sub-entities within each fund for various asset classes on a daily basis
