On-site application development team leader for the Wegman’s legacy system support contract. Managed team of 3 to 6 developers focusing on supporting the legacy mainframe systems used by customer’s daily operations. In addition to being an individual contributor also responsible for developing and presenting management reporting, for both CAI and customer.
Work with CAI and Wegman’s staff to improve problem resolution process by implementing a triage process and managing issues in relation to team skills and current assignments.

Short term contract to assist the IT department at C&S Wholesale to absorb the wholesale contracts purchased from the bankrupt Penn Traffic company.
Collaborated with C&S IT staff to migrate Penn Traffic required data to C&S systems in Keene, NH.
Developed process to build the required data and system components need for a full recovery at the C&S data center.
Consulted with C&S IT staff as required on the support and business needs of wholesale customers.

Manager Applications/Project Development
Sr. Programmer Analyst/Project Leader
Managed multiple development and support teams for diverse business units including finance and account, supply chain, store support, and data warehousing. Teams included developers recently graduated through experienced developers, business analysts, and project leaders.
Managed and mentored programmers, analysts, and project leaders developing in both mainframe and client server environments on the systems development and technical support Penn Traffic applications.
Assisted in the development of the Business Continuity program, resilience strategies and verify recovery objectives are sufficient to recover the business as identified by the organizations requirements. Facilitated the Business Continuity Management testing program for applications my team and I were responsible for. Worked with members of different business departments to understand Disaster Recovery test objectives, scope and assisted in the execution of the test.
Designed and implemented policies, standards, guidelines, and training programs to support multiple retailing and distribution applications.
Developed standardized analysis methods to better manage and resolve aged problem tickets. Resulting in reducing the backlog from 150 open problems to under 20. Incorporating these methods in new development testing reduced weekly new problem rate from over 25 a week to less than 10 a week.
Participated in departmental steering committees that reviewed work and project requests in order to define resource allocation and the project priorities and deadlines.
Managed project that formalized the IDE architecture and application development tools used by applications for JAVA development allowing to build a company standard as migration from Enterprise to Distributed systems was initiated.
