Operations Coordinator (2009-2016)
Held multiple positions of various responsibilities and scopes at the Coordinator level. Managed the rounds inventory and cutting process, Finishing Operations Complex (including two pipe finishing floors, a UT inspection line, and heat treating facility) and Pipe Shipping facility.
Corrected and maintained accurate rounds inventory for consistent and reliable production scheduling.
Served as the USS-Tubular Operations team lead with the Association of American Railroads and was co-author for OTLR Figure 124-A. This figure dramatically reduced pipe damage and rail car setouts for pipe shippers.

Purchased and refurbished all rolls and tooling to support the operation of the Seamless Hot Mill. Monthly budget was in excess of $1.5M. Stayed under budget 98% of the time.

Assisted in the scheduling of the Mill’s five major departments. Analyzed cost structure of profits associated with individual pieces of business. Defines and reported monthly numbers of Cost of Quality excursions.

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the facility’s pipe batch cutting and inspection lines. Consisted of two saw lines with two saws each, transfer tables, and an EMI inspection unit. Additionally responsible for the safety, training, and qualification of operators in the department.
