TITLE : Radix-r Redundant Number Real Time Addition.
DESCRIPTION: This project describes real time addition which involves a bit wise serial operation. Multioperand and multiformat real time adders are designed. Six practical rules are developed to design an adder capable of adding data with different representations. The architecture of multioperand, multiformat real time addition trees is proposed to perform a fast bitwise addition. This technique involves an online delay because single bit registers are used. Ending cycles become a necessity due to this online delay. A design is proposed to reduce the initiation interval. A radix-8 real time adder is designed and the results are compared with radix -2 adder results.

TITLE : Analysis of Segmentation Techniques for Breast Cancer in Mammogram
Images.
DESCRIPTION: Diagnosis of breast cancer remains a major clinical problem. Mammogram is a major breakthrough, in breast cancer examinations. It is the qualitative and quantitative assessment of deep tissue stiffness. As image segmentation has been and still is, a relevant research area and hundreds of segmentation algorithms have been proposed in the last 30 years. This work is to present a comparison between two image segmentation algorithms which can be effectively used in mammogram images for the segmentation of cancer area.

Presented the paper entitled “Analysis of Segmentation Techniques for Breast Cancer in Mammogram Images” in the 2nd National Conference at Saveetha Engineering College, Thandalam on 25.03.2011.
Present the paper entitled “Radix-r redundant number real time addition” in the 2nd National Conference at Agni College of Technology, Thalambur on 28.03.2014. And the same paper has been published in IJETR journal.
