Determines exposure to problems, or potential problems by analyzing data (lot number, quantity, shipment date, etc.) on product shipped, assembled, and warehouse after problem was detected.

Analyzes immediately the product returns/defective items and identifies the source of the problem. Simulates the problem, defines the quality issue, and recommends corrective action.

Supervises technical staff in carrying out tests and checks, often in a laboratory environment.

Acts as key contact with the customers' auditors; ensures execution of corrective actions and on-going compliance with customers' specifications.

Monitors day-to-day activities and output of her subordinates and ensures that targets are met.
