At this position, I was able to continue and further my previous experience in the legal field by filling in a temporary legal administrative position at a small banking law firm which worked with clients mainly from the small, corporate North Carolina community banking sector. The firm's sole focus was with these institutions on a long term client basis regarding areas of Mergers, Acquisitions and Reorganization within their companies.

With the exception of not having to handle accounting at this firm, as it was outsourced to an individual professional, I handled several administrative and legal tasks such as drafting and refining several legal related correspondence and standard legal documents on a weekly basis, distributing and sending out mail daily, handling general office supply orders as well as other supplies needed (which varied from Corpex books to copier and printer supplies), preparing professional binders for clients, mainly when a closing was to be in effect, sending out FedEx and UPS shipments almost daily, scanning and e-mailing documents to other clients as well as the attorneys in house, preparing and mailing documents to reputable clients, obtaining certified copies from the NC Secretary of State almost weekly, as well as many other general administrative tasks such as answering phones for five attorneys, and assisting each one with whatever tasks were to be done for their clients. The firm also covered costs in order for me to obtain my North Carolina Notary Public certification, which I obtained in September and my commission runs through 2016. This position was temporary and my assignment ended December 31, 2011.
