Production Supervisor
I am confident that with my training, skills, and managerial experience, I would be an asset as a
Production Supervisor. I have over 20 years in a Manager, Superintendent capacity and 10 plus years as a supervisor in production and Maintenance. I am considered to be a hands on Manager.
My recent responsibilities included high speed liquid filling lines on two shifts. Previously was responsible for all maintenance, all tool and die, and all facilities maintenance personnel at two separate plants, up to 45 employees. Assigned priorities based on customer needs. Accountable for all outside vendors, and contractors. Increased machine uptime from 74% to 99.2%. 11.6% under $1,100,000 yearly budget. Organized and controlled all parts inventory. Implemented a plan to bring all preventive maintenance tasks current and on time.
As my resume illustrates, I possess a proven track record in exceeding manufacturing requirements, quality, safety, scrap reduction, inventory control, and machine up time. I have over 30 years in managerial positions and attribute my success to my strong, personal motivational and communication skills.
I have completed many management courses, including training in ISO 9001 and Kaizen techniques. In addition to being a Skilled Trades Manager at The Homac Companies, I also served on the Safety Committee, and previously served as an internal auditor. I was selected as a member of Copeland Corporation’s Corporate Kaizen Committee. I have used my knowledge, experience and good sense in implementing several programs that have reduced cost and improved productivity in all my places of employment.
