Gnutti Carlo USA (2014-Present)

Responsibilities-Jan 20 2014 I started as the second shift supervisor. I was over 15 people and was responsible for their production, vacation, weekly time cards, and also for their discipline. Within 60 days second shift was more productive than first shift which was not a hard task because both shifts were very unorganized.

Oct 1 2014 the plant rolled out SAP to keep track of production and stock on all of our material and components. At this point the plant manager chose to move me to first shift to oversee SAP and to do training. I also had to keep track of all confirmations in the shop. Jan 1 2015 I became Lead Supervisor at Gnutti Carlo USA. I am currently over 70+ people and 5 other supervisors. I now work directly with the plant manager and we share the Production Manger responsibilities. I handle all of the on time delivery and on most cases work directly with the Materials Manger to handle front loads to keep the customer happy I make most of the adjustments in the CNC programs on both the lathes and mills. I am very familiar with Haas, Okuma, and Fanuc controls, Haas being my most familiar. I work directly with the Quality Manger to come up with in-process tolerances and to make adjustments on new jobs and set ups. I do all of the work instructions and inspection boards for the floor. I have made binders for each job at each cell that includes work instructions, inspection boards, and SAP confirmations. I keep track of all of these in my office and issue them to the employees on a job by job basis. This is something I came out with in October when we started SAP and has worked very well to this day. I am currently rolling out the 5S program cell by cell to the whole shop. I have created the first 5S team and we are doing our first cell at the moment. This is a very high production and fast paced job and I love it. I perform excellent under fire and under high stress levels. I have trained my employees and co-workers to do the same. My duties here are endless as also, I believe are my possibilities. I am eager to share my knowledge with your company.

Anniston Plating and Metal Finishing (2013-2014) Responsibilities-ran an OD finish grinder on double tapered rolls with the OD ranging from 23 to 36 while holding .0005. This process taught me patience and on time delivery as I was over all of the rolls in this department.

Aerospace Coatings International (2008-2012)

Responsibilities-started off over sizing the chrome out of the flow bores using ID grinder by following FAA procedures. I moved to the ID Finishing department where I ran a CNC ID grinder. I worked my way up to finish grinding front landing gear for different aircraft holding

.0002 on the OD finish. I became very efficient at holding tight tolerances with high finishing callouts.

Valley Machine Co. (2000-2008)

Responsibilities-ran Bridgeports, lathes, tracer lathes, sub-arch welding, drill presses, table mills; most of my experience coming on a Toshiba floor mill. I performed full set-ups all the way from the blueprints to final inspection. I am able to perform any giving job with just a blueprint and the correct tooling without any assistance. On many occasions I would make custom tooling to complete a job. I also started running and setting up CNC mills.
