Sprue and Inspector. Use hydraulic wedges and sledge hammers to break excess iron off of the parts as specified. Inspect parts to ensure there is no damage during the molding, pouring, or sprueing process.
2015 – 2016 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Corrections, SCI Forest
Records Specialist. Process inmate records for reception, according to policy. Review inmate records and process the inmate for release on parole or sentence complete. Making sure there are no arrest warrants, active charges, or open court cases. Ensure all required programs have been completed. Review and clear records for work release outside the wire. Track inmate movement to and from court. Update records with any status changes; such as, parole violations or any other changes in sentences. Review Rap sheet to find disposition to all arrests, and contacting appropriate authorities to find out disposition to all arrest with no disposition recorded. Contact appropriate authorities to clarify any discrepancies in the records paperwork. Take photos of inmates for their state ID and for when they are to be released.

Disa Support. Take and record temperature of iron every 15 minutes. Take samples at the beginning and end of each ladle of iron. Use 1 inch x 8 foot steel rod to ensure that the receiving hole does not close up. Use a metal scoop to skim the slag off the new ladle of iron.
M130 Machine Operator. Operate the M130 molding machine in a safe manner, using compressed sand to create molds to pour iron into to create parts. Set cores into mold without damaging the sand mold.
Relief Operator. Pull and date patterns with the Julian date for that day.
Assist the machine operator with the pattern change on the machine. Use a
forklift to set boxes or pallets of cores up near the machine, where the
machine operator can reach them. Operate the machine while the operator
is on break.
