KWH is a contractor of USAID and UNCHR. KWH provides support to funding agencies for relief activities in flood and earth quick effected region.
Responsible for coordination among all stakeholders such as donor, disaster affected community
Responsible for maintaining geodatabase of all assets and create 3 D models using Arc Scene by converting AutoCAD drawing and use hydrological data to predict flood movement.
Plan relief team movement in disaster affected area and communicate with local community
Plan routes of heavy machinery and construction material and present 3 – D models for understanding technical complexity of operations in area to non-technical staff.
Identify buildings location and map in earth quick affected area from spatial imagery and surveying data for planning rescue services and to plan temporary rehabilitation camps
Research Assistant (GIS/R/S) Department of Environment and natural resources & SA water. Urban heat island is a DEWNR and SA water funded project with collaboration with Flinders University. Correlation of surface and NDVI is studied for Koonmoore Conservation Park.
Responsible for acquiring and processing satellite data such as surface temperature and NDVI from 2002-2015.
Develop and analysing results by applying statistical algorithms on the processed data.
