JOB DESCRIPTION, DUTIES, and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pre – start checkup and maintenance of welding equipment, and ensure that the machine accessories and tools are in good and safe working condition.
Interpret welding drawings, procedures and specifications, and perform visual inspection of the material’s fit up and alignment before welding.
Plan and carry out welding activities such as tack welding and full welding, and assure that the welds qualifies with NDT (DPI, MPI, PMI, AUT, and RT) requirements.
Signing up Inspection Test Plan before and upon completion of the task. Keep exclusive records of welding parameters, welding consumables batch numbers, gas consumables, material line, and joint numbers in reference for quality control inspections and audits.
