Performed acceptance and fielding of aircraft post pre-buy inspection of a Gulfstream IV aircraft.

Responsibilities include but not limited to insuring the safe daily operation of the Gulfstream IV aircraft. Performed technical evaluations and servicing of aircraft pre and post flight. Ensured that all maintenance requirements were complied with. As the Engineer of the privately owned jet, job also included crew duties of traveling with the aircraft ensuring the safety and comfort of the Principle and all passengers. Job also included ensuring the availability of aircraft 24/7.

Performed inspections, maintenance, repairs, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, customer bulletins on GII, GIII, GIV, GV, G100, G150, G200, and Astra aircraft. Performed experimental aerodynamic testing on G200 aircraft, which resulted in production enhances to G150 and G200 aircraft.

As a Mechanical Team Lead responsibilities were to manage aircraft that were arriving or departing on my shift. Managed manpower and timekeeping. Other responsibilities included insuring the compliance of proper data and standards of quality of maintenance performed in compliance of federal regulations and corporate policies. Ensured safe and airworthy departing aircraft. I also had been dispatched on numerous (approx.30) occasions to repair AOG (aircraft on ground) aircraft throughout the US, Europe, and South America. On the majority of these occasions I was the Inspector that released the aircraft to service.
