Leak detection and repair at petrochemical facilities using environmental air sampling techniques.

Traveling is required.

Working in a highly regulated, detail orientated environment where strict adherence to rules and procedures is required at all times.

Meeting with the client to make sure we are on the same page.

Reading PNID’s to understand the flow and the process so we can flag and tag the facility.

LDAR database set-up and management.

LDAR program development, procedures, QA/QC, and implementation.

Rule applicability determination and stream speciation.

Cooling tower testing, BWON waste stream sampling, and carbon canister sampling.

Local on-site maintenance services.

Consent decree and other noncompliance regulatory negotiations.

Perform LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) policies and procedures following tasks in assigned project site.

Daily Analyzer calibration.

Routine repair and maintenance of analyzers.

Coordinate LDAR field activities with LDAR contract technicians.

Maintain and complete monitoring schedules.

Repair leaking components.

Generate work requests and follow-up on LDAR maintenance repairs.

Maintain record keeping on monitoring and repairs.

Maintain identification of LDAR components and applicability reviews.

Performs other daily operation and maintenance tasks of a routine nature.

This position includes assisting operating companies with the implementation of their occupational health and safety standards and industry recommended practices.

Confined space monitoring (when workers are inside vessels).

Gas monitoring (using electronic gas monitoring devices to assess air quality in work area).
