Design and detail tools, jigs, fixtures and gages for assembly, inspection, shock / vibe and vacuum testing of cryogenically cooled Infrared Dewars and Thermoelectric (uncooled) Focal Plane Array (FPA) packages. Responsible for design and detail of all form and trim dies for hermetically sealed packages and getters. Design and support high volume tooling for all manufacturing phases of Thermal Weapon Sights (TWS), Common Remote Weapon Platform Systems (CROWS) and Driver Enhanced Vision Systems (ENVG). Design mechanical test stations for electro-optic products; clean room compliant, critical optical alignment tooling for commercial, military and space applications. Support HgCdTe foundry and LPE laboratory. Procure all proto-type and production tooling and interface with machine shops / fabrication houses daily.

Conceived, designed and detailed tooling, jigs, fixtures and gages for the manufacture of electronic devices for the telecommunication industry. Designed pre-form, cut and trim dies for SMT application, production wave solder fixtures for Circuit Card line and developed field service tools. All work performed at off-site location. Worked directly with toolroom and interfaced with outside vendors and suppliers on a daily basis.
