Orchestrated all aspects of daily manufacturing operations, production, and supervision of plant personnel in the manufacturing plant. As well as, responsible for ensuring the operations comply with all safety, quality, and other operational standards.

Created and maintained a safe work environment. Measuring, tracking and reporting Loss-Time Accidents and Incident Reports. Proactively implement plans to maintain a no loss-time work environment.

Using six sigma practices, we were able to raise plant reliability by 12 percent, productivity by 15 percent, and trimmed product waste by 10 percent.

Recommended improvements to the process and the facility that improved performance and reduce costs. Oversaw and implemented these improvements. Reported the results and pursued continued improvements.

Handled, maintained, and implemented capital projects and expenditures for the plant. (5% reduction in operations spending).

Participated as a member of the Company SFRM Wet-Mix division management team to continuously improve manufacturing processes.

Re-Established, monitored, and maintained the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan for the facility and lease property, including inspections and reporting in accordance with county and OHSA regulations.

Led all aspects of operations in the dry-packaged concrete manufacturing industry. Oversaw process optimization, quality control/quality assurance, logistics, and equipment and raw material procurement. Supervised and trained a team of 29 employees.

Managed production scheduling, administered the safety program, as well as planned and coordinated projects.

Developed budgets and approved expenditures for supplies, materials, and human resources; ensured materials, labor, and equipment were used efficiently to meet production targets.

Analyzed operating budgets, profit & loss (P&L) statements, forecasted fiscal requirements for the upcoming year, and established expenditure controls. Provided advice on cost analysis, fiscal allocations, and budget preparation.

Performed duties of Air Quality Manager for the facility. Ensured air quality standards complied with Arizona’s Maricopa County Rule 316 for regulating and controlling emissions from nonmetallic mineral.

Served as Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan Coordinator. Assisted in developing the plan, performed routine and comprehensive facility inspections, and submitted reports to the state and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
