Producer / Editor

Floor Director / Stage Manager (2005-2016)

Make sure that sets, props and technical equipment are safe, ready to use and in the right position prior to filming. Act as a liaison and coordinator between the director and the many people involved in a production on the studio floor. Responsibility for passing on cues to presenters and guests to ensure timings are met and the broadcast/pro- duction goes smoothly. Make sure that events go according to a set plan and that people taking part know their particular roles and how it fits in with whatever else is happening. Lead a team of runners and oversee other de- partments, such as props, lighting and sound. In some instances help prepare and plan productions and supervise the live rehearsals.
