Valve Tech-My job duties as a valve tech were to dissemble crosses and trees used
for fracking. After I would dissemble the valves I would separate by size and function Hydraulic or manual. Then I was in charge of busting open these valves 7", 5", 4", and 2" changing out parts and resembling testing and making sure they passed. Then when new orders came in I would assemble new crosses and trees. All while working safe, being productive, finishing in a timely manner and having a positive attitude.

Rig welder -As a Rig Welder I fabricated hand rails for staircases and gates for dumpsters and pools for several hotels being built in the Corpus Christi and Beeville areas. I also fabricated custom Bar-B-Q pits and dog kennels for clients in the shop. At the work site I set up the welder to the desired welding specifications and pulled leads and extension cords and required tools for the job.

1st Class Welder-At Gulf Marine Fabricators I was apart of assembling and welding offshore rigs for big oil companies. While employed at GMF safety, quality and production were essential and key in our every day work environment and became second nature in my performance during my shift. The start of my work day began with a brief safety meeting and stretch followed by our welding objectives for the night. After filling out my JHA (job hazard analysis) I would locate my work area and set up my welding suitcase with the proper wire and dial in the temperature required by the WPS (welding procedure Sheet). Depending on what was being welded the quota was usually 75-150 ft. A shift, per welder and I hustled to deliver that every night and took a lot of pride in my work ethic and welds.

Structural Fitter & Welder-During my employment at Kiewit Offshore Services I learned a lot about safety, Reading blueprints, material handling and I was certified as a rigger and for operating heavy equipment such as small, medium, and large forklifts such as man lifts, scissor lifts, and jeg lifts. I learned from very skillful and knowledgeable 1st Class Fitters and Welders how to handle and fit material, tack and weld, gauge and cut with acetylene torches and plasma cutters. I also learned how to carry myself with pride and have respect for my fellow co-workers and different tradesmen I worked along side with. The opportunity I had being apart of building massive offshore rigs was a very humbling and great experience, I take a lot of pride in and have passion for.

Head Grill Cook-My duties at Nikos as Head Grill Cook was maintaining a perfect temp with the mesquite wood fire. Prepping meat and everything I needed in my station for the night taking multiple orders at any time and cooking different cuts of meat at different temps. Making sure everything came out perfect and on time at the end of the shift I would stock and clean for the next shift.
