Using Informatica PowerCenter ETL tool, data is inserted into the landing tables of the Informatica MDM hub, this data is scrubbed using Informatica MDM’s cleanse functions, IDQ is used for address and e-mail cleansing, de-duplication is performed based on business rules and the best-of-breed data is published in the form of materialized views for consumption by downstream systems. Near-real-time publish of the consolidated master data is also done using event-based message triggers. The solution also includes real-time insertion and viewing of Hub data using Informatica MDM’s SIF framework. Informatica MDM has been used to create the landing tables, staging tables, base objects, match and merge rules, cleansing functions, validation rules according to the business requirements.
