CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
> Accomplished 5% cost reduction in project NAV and 10% pipeline material cos; amounting to $50M by utilizing X-70 line pipes for sour service in Kumang Cluster Development Project.The first subsea pipeline of high strength material in Malaysia; subsequently modified to X-65 material due to unavailability of X-70 material as Pipe Mill defaulted.
> Managed the FEED of first offshore pipeline in Malaysia with significant life cycle savings of $125M during its operational life of 25 years.
> Led the design and construction of more than 60% of pipeline network of Arthit 1C Project through surplus pipes from earlier projects; thereby generating cost benefit of more than $5M.
> Provided expert advice to ARTHIT asset of PTTEP to reduce the size of GL3N pipeline from 16” to 12” that aided the company in delivering the project in a timely manner with minimum schedule cost implication and modification to the jacket, as well as WHP and utilization of the procured line pipe.
> Leveraged excellent skills in designing a 24” x 674 km Salalah gas pipeline internally coated with flow enhancement internal coating, which was considered as the longest pipeline in Middle East.
> Achieved the retrieval of part pig from 38” export gas pipeline of RasGas in Qatar.
> Executed the operation of 28”x 38” dual diameter drive module, which was first pipeline of RasGas in Qatar.
> Served as an integral member of the technical team charter to evaluate the root cause of top of the line corrosion and mitigation measures in the 38” sour wet gas export pipeline.
> Successfully performed the following initiatives including:
- Inspection of 48” loading line following history of failed profile pig run;
- Temporary de-rating of 24” south satellite and 18” west satellite oil trunk lines of Zakum Development Company due to loss of integrity; and
- Retrieval of two stuck pigs 16” GD-4D and 16” Vantage 4C from 16” crude oil lines in Bombay High; as well as 8” foam pig from the pipeline, following 59 days of launching in good condition in India.
