Coordinate Engineering change orders with the HHI Engineering Group on all of Rowan's 6 Generation drill ships
As the Lead Electrical Project Engineer for Rowan, I met weekly with HHI Engineering to discuss commissioning completion and
overall progress on each vessel under construction making sure construction and commissioning deadlines were met
Provided Rowan with commissioning updates, milestone status and any major issues affecting vessel construction and delivery
schedules. All four vessels were delivered on time and under budget
Attended Factory Acceptance Testing for all the hull side MV and LV SWGR, transformers and Drilling lineups
Reviewed and updated the electrical commissioning procedures for each vessel
Supervised and directed a team of local Korean E&I Inspector's commissioning activities on a daily basis
Directly responsible for the commissioning and startup of MV & LV SWBDS, Thrusters, Drilling Lineups and Power Management
