Managed a 1st tier automotive 4-shift $300M Friction Products 300,000 square ft. facility.

Supervised 3 Business Unit Managers, 20 supervisors, and 1200 hourly employees which developed and communicated a successful annual site vision.

Performed Aggressive Lean Implementation which resulted in 12% reduction in operating expenses within 3 months and 90% Plant productivity indexes.

5S “wall to wall” implementation / sustainment.

COOPER HAND TOOLS, Sumter, SC 2005 - 2007

Operations Manager

Total P/L responsibilities of all manufacturing and maintenance operations of Wrench, Compound Action, HKP, Pliers, and Drivers product lines.

Successfully managed 3-shift operation including 4 Business Unit Managers, 15 salary supervisors, and 500 hourly value added employees.

Reduced operating expense by 15 % while improving bottom line by 17%.
