* Financial Analysis for SAIC for Health Sciences of South Carolina for the
collaboration of the 6 largest healthcare systems in South Carolina on a state wide
clinical trial network with over 50 Million dollars of clinical trial studies.
* As an interim CFO for a 100 bed hospital in Arizona recouped over 5 Million
dollars in back Medicare and Federal Grant payments in six months and
evaluated HMS system hospital wide.
* Project Manager for various hospitals on Revenue Cycle enhancements and Operations

Palm Springs General Hospital, Hialeah, FL., July 1992 - Feb 2002
* Hired to reverse five-year negative trend in both business and profit at one of the few
remaining privately owned-for-profit facilities in Florida.
* Successfully turned around facility from 10% annual decline into one of the most
profitable hospitals in the State of Florida - $9,000,000 increase over seven years.
This achievement was accomplished in an environment where it’s two competing
hospitals were owned by Tenet Corporation.
* Census increased by an annual average of 8% and net profits increased in excess of
$1,000,000 per year with net profit margin of over 12% for last six years.
* Charged with all financial operations, cash management, information systems,
insurance, ancillary departments and regulatory agency reporting.
* Responsible for acquiring and negotiating contracts with over 20 HMO/PPO companies,
many nationally known, in facility that previously had contracts with only two local
