I am a very self-motivated, safety oriented, reliable and dependable individual who enjoys the satisfaction of the accomplishments that I have achieved throughout my work career.

I have been in supervision for approximately 26 years and have achieved numerous certifications and specialized training. I also have had the privilege of being Class Honor Graduate in Security at Waterford III Nuclear Power Plant in Taft, LA.

I am always eager to learn and increase my knowledge and at the same time always willing to assist in training / teaching others in order to further enhance their knowledge and skills. I also promote on a daily basis in keeping the work place area accident free as safety is always of the utmost concern.

WORK HISTORY

August 2014 to June 28, 2016 – C-Logistics LLC, Logistics Cargo Coordinator, Shell / BP / Martin Midstream in Galveston Texas.

Responsibilities included but not limited to the following: Coordinating, Directing and Monitoring the offloading and loading of Offshore equipment and materials required for (2) two Shell Offshore Drilling and Production Assets located in the Gulf of Mexico off the Texas Coast. Managed equipment reports along with Road and Marine Vessels Transportation Manifests. Ensured all equipment attained for job were in compliance as needed, maintained quality assurance and records keeping, maintained safe handling practices of moving materials throughout the work area and dockside. Since November of 2015, the Galveston Base has been closed and I was transferred to the British Petroleum Account located at C-Port 1 in Port Fourchon La. I am still a Logistics Cargo Coordinator on that account performing the same functions as described above.

August 2011 to August 2014 – Shell Terminal Port Fourchon, LA – Ryder Lead Customer Logistics Manager

Responsibilities included but not limited to the following: Managements of direct reports, developing direct reports, issue resolutions, quality assurance, administrative duties, safety management and reporting, customer relations, coordinate daily work request for the movement of materials and equipment inbound and outbound which included the utilization of approximately 140 up to 180 trucks per day. Manage and maintain accurate daily performance report of Carriers as needed. Attended weekly safety and productivity meetings with Ryder Management, Carriers and Shell Representatives.

August 2010 to August 2011 – LOOP, LLC in Galliano, LA – Danos and Curole Contractors – Assistant Lead Maintenance Supervisor

Coordinated a group of approximately (6) six to (8) eight Maintenance Techs in the daily work assignments of repairing, maintaining, removal and the installation of various equipment associated with the LOOP, LLC Facility in Galliano, LA to include but not limited to valves, piping, pumps, motor alignment, instrumentations, storage tank inspections and repairs and performs daily safety meetings.

July 2010 to August 2010 – British Petroleum Gulf Oil Leak, Fourchon, LA – ES&H – Project Superintendent

Coordinated, directed, and maintained a group of approximately 250 individuals from various contract agencies in the cleanup, decontamination and disposal efforts of crude oil which had been washed ashore from the Gulf of Mexico. Maintained daily progress reports for BP Operations Chiefs, Management and Coast Guard Officials. Implemented safe work practices and ensured a safe work environment of an area, which included approximately (8) eight miles of beach and shoreline.

May 1998 to July 2010 – Valero St. Charles Refinery – Lead Maintenance Supervisor

Coordinated and directed special projects which included the rebuilding, repairing, and replacing oil storage tanks and piping as needed and maintained daily progress reports for upper supervision and management. Daily activities included: inspections, maintaining, repairing, replacing, and testing pumps, valves, piping, hoses, and all equipment associated with tank fields and Marine Terminals. I worked in a storage tank field which consisted of approximately 77 tanks of numerous sizes, capacities, and various petroleum products. I held morning safety meetings on a daily basis and reported to management, providing them with percentage completion ratios of each job performed.

February 1995 to May 1998 – Bay Incorporated – Amelia, LA – General Forman

Coordinated and directed a shift of approximately 30 personnel in the fabrication of the following offshore Shell projects: The Mars Tension-Leg Platform, the Ram-Powell-Tension-Leg Platform, and the Ursa-Tension-Leg Platform. Daily activities included the coordination and installation of all structural and piping associated with the process and drilling modules of all of the above stated projects. Updated and controlled all associated structure and isometric drawings, directed daily safety meetings, performed quality inspections on all work installations, tracked all employee time sheets, and attended weekly production meetings with Management and Shell officials, providing them with percentage completion ratios.

May 1990 to February 1995 – Bollinger Shipyard – Amelia, LA – Superintendent

Coordinated, directed, and maintained approximately 65 shift personnel in the fabrication and repairing of offshore/inland vessels and barges. Performed daily testing of confined spaces prior to entry and assigned work tasks as needed. Maintained reports, Coast Guard inspections and Certifications of Vessels for repair, timesheets, safety logs, and performed daily safety meetings with all employees. Attended daily production meetings with management and customers.

January 1984 to May 1990 – Waterford III Nuclear Power Plant – Taft, LA – Central Alarm Station Security Operator

Directed, coordinated, and deployed approximately 40 security task force members in normal operations of daily shift assignments. Managed numerous classified documents and procedures; Operated, monitored and initiated required actions of the security computer system and close circuit camera system (CCTV), monitored and implemented required compensatory actions pertaining to all incoming E-Field and Microwave Detection Systems, initiated 24 hour State/Local monitored tests of the Communication System with Local Law Enforcement Agencies (LLEA) . Monitored, initiated, directed and coordinated compensatory actions plant-wide in the event of any compromised or failure of the Plant Security System and was annually graded by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission as SALP 1 Rated Operator (highest rating achievable).

August 1978 to January 1984 – Texaco Inc. – Houma, LA – Roughneck

Worked offshore on a drilling rig as a roughneck and derrick hand performing normal activities pertaining to drilling and maintaining rig upkeep. Repaired pumps, mixed chemicals, and tested equipment and rig components as needed.
