Responsibilities

Hired on full time to operate and maintain forklift, electric pallet jack, and switcher (yard mule). Daily operation of all equipment as needed. Duties inside warehouse included: unload station, scan station, sort isle, palletize. Scheduled maintenance when needed and coordinated with truck drivers for load arrivals. Moved trailers to and from doors using yard mule. Also build and put together whatever items, racks, or components needed when outside vendor was not used. Also trained and certified other employees on all equipment.

Accomplishments

Could handle multiple task, and could save the company money by tackling jobs instead of outside services.

Skills Used

Communication, and overall knowledge warehouse and equipment. Ability to see a problem and work with someone or fix an issue.
