SimBank – Simple and Secure Bank application
AngularJS was used to develop the front-end application.
Database was generated on MySQL workbench.
Data was encrypted using AES encryption algorithm.
Specific keywords were selected and stored as a unique key using Sha3 hashing.
RBAC was implemented.
FIFA 2014 Data Analysis
Obtained a collection of data from two different sources. A regular CSV format dataset and data from Twitter feeds.
Data extracted from Twitter was cleaned using a Python code.
MySQL Workbench was used to store the normalized tables.
Data analysis was performed by using Rattle R analysis tool.
Created a web application written in JSP format of HTML.
JDBC was successfully created.
Final application, produced information about a specific player - Name, Tag, Age, Team, Club, Captain, etc. And another tab generates the specified player's Twitter feeds report.
Malware Attack on Windows System
A virus was created which was made to attack the BIOS of a Windows system.
A simple Hello World program in C++ was used as our malicious code was deployed over a VM in RLES.
This implementation is also effective for touch enabled screens.
Implementation of Load Balancing Servers using Virtual Machines in Amazon Cloud
Created two virtual machines on Amazon EC2 with the help of Amazon Cloud services with proper specifications.
Instances created were directed to Apache server through a client server PuTTY configuration.
A Health check with specified configuration and necessary metrics was generated and utilized to keep the traffic directed to a healthy instance of virtual machine.
Thus, load between the two virtual machines was distributed uniformly.
Independent Study – Access Control and insider threats in e-health systems
Independently worked and researched on various Access controls in Security for e-Health providers.
Proposed a new layer of protection for BiLAC application (A combination of RBAC and ABAC).
Analyzed various security measures and practiced them over various platforms.
Implemented the same using xml and database was created using MySQL.
Wilderness prediction – Big Data Analytics
The hypothesis of our project was to predict the wilderness of a given area using the defined attributes.
We used a dataset of Forest cover type (http://archive.ics.uci.edu/ml/datasets/Covertype) with 54 different attributes and a classifier.
The data mining technique used for our project hypothesis is classification.
We worked with Weka Rattle R Data Miner in order to generate a more accurate prediction model.
We performed a Classification Modeling technique to generate a decision tree in Rattle which uses ID3 algorithm.
Our model was able to generate an accuracy of 84.15%.
