• As an Engineer, the primary role involves servicing and repairing the equipments used in video and broadcast industry. This includes onsite, in-house and remote service and support to the customers.

• Involved in Pre-sales activities such as demonstration of the equipments, recommending the right equipment to customers and in-house sales team.

• Also providing trainings to In-house sales team and juniors as a part of Pre-Sales activity.

• Imparting trainings to the customer by involving their engineering team and operational team as a Post-sales activity.

• Understanding the client requirement and commissioning the equipment’s discreetly or as a system. This also involves coordinating with the System integration team.

Watermarking Project

• Implementation of hardware in TV channels Pan India basis which embeds a unique ID and time in the signal being transmitted by the channel. This ID and time are decoded, logged and the viewership ratings are proved to the TV channels. These systems are completely operational and are presently being used.

• Part of the core team involved in planning of actual implementation and pre-installation co- ordination with the TV channels.

• One of the Key engineers involved in actual installation and support post installation.

• Training the TV channels and also guiding the colleagues during their installation and for remote support.

UMD

• This is the device used to monitor the watermarking functionality of the hardware based upon the GPI triggers available from the hardware.

• Managing and part of the design team.

• Single handedly overlooking the entire production and testing of the UMD’s

• This device is presently being installed and is operational at many TV channel in India. Cisco TV’s Event Centre

• Commissioning of the equipment’s for Cisco TV’s Event Centre equipped with the facility to transmit and receive events telecasted at various Event centers of Cisco worldwide.
