Duties and Responsibilities:

My duties and responsibilities include providing direct comprehensive nursing care.

Participate with the different members of the care team in developing plan of care.

Implement and evaluate the plan of care and revise if needed.

Conduct heath education to patients and relatives based on their learning needs.

Co-ordinate patients care with the other members of the health team and maintain the Interdepartmental relationship.

Maintain standard quality of care, based on hospital rules and policies.

Types of patients handled:

Handled patients with the following illness:

Patients with fever, Diarrhoea, vomiting, chicken pox, cerebrovascular injuries due to accident Hypertension, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(COPD),

Diabetes Mellitus, HIV infected, Cirrhosis of Liver, Hepatitis, Renal failure,

Gastro-intestinal problem etc.

Care of patients with communicable diseases.

Care of bed ridden patients on alpha bed, water mattress.

Emergency case managed includes treatment of shock, trauma, and Myocardial infarction.

Care of patients in mechanical ventilator, IABP, Pacemaker.

Types of Equipments and Machines Handled:

Defibrillator, Cardiac Monitor, Nebulizer Machine, Suction Apparatus, Non Invasive Blood Pressure monitor, Pulse oxymeter, ECG machine, Syringe pump, Oxygen –portable and centralized, Peak flow meter infusion pump, Glucometer.

Nursing and Clinical Skills:
