Description: Royal Bank of Canada is Canada's largest bank, and one of the largest banks in the world, based on market capitalization. The purpose of the project is to build an enterprise big data platform that would be used to load, manage and process terabytes of transactional data, machine log data, performance metrics, and other adhoc data sets and extract meaningful information out of it. The solution is based on the Cloudera Hadoop.

Responsibilities:

This is a development project using COBOL/JCL/DB2 and involves the use of MS-Access database/VB sometimes. This project was operated in an onsite-offshore model.
