Protective Device Coordination Analysis using ETAP Star Mode: perform a short-circuit study on intelligent one-line diagram to update the time-characteristics curve for line to ground fault, analyze sequence-of-operations, operation of all protective devices, operating time and state of protective devices.

Dynamic protection of microgrid: Simulated load flow analysis on normal and isolated microgrid using ETAP software. Due to microgrid islanding there is high inrush current in one of the transformer. After resolving issue, reconnect isolated network with rest of the network and power redistribution is performed by MATLAB Artificial neural network.
