Objective

I am seeking a full time or part time opportunity where I will be able to utilize my thirty plus years of knowledge within a clerical/office environment. My diverse set of skills, such as organizational skills and people skills have allowed me to work personally and professionally within many years of the secretarial/clerical field.

Experience

Tractor Supply – January 7, 2014 – April 29, 2015

Greet customers to establish what their needs are and engage them in conversation to make their shopping experience pleasant, help with products, receive payments by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits. Issue receipts, refunds, store credits, or change due to the customer. Maintain clean and orderly checkout area. Identify prices of goods, services, and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners, stock products, and price changes.

Convergys - November 2013 – January 2014

Call Center Representative. Answer phones. Resolve problems and trouble shoot customer accounts. Ability to multitask utilizing several systems.

Data entry of animal vaccinations, filing adoption records on animals, answering phone, filling out adoption paperwork on animals that are adopted through the facility, customer service issues.

Interpret and transcribe audio files made by physicians and other medical personnel.

Proof read transcribed text for grammar and errors and print reports.

Maintained patient files and medical records. Ordered office supplies to ensure adequate supply without oversupply. Inventoried equipment and supplies to ensure 100% accountability.

Create office documents that include new patient office visits, follow-up office visits, and history and physicals for patients being admitted to the hospital for surgery, physical examination reports, medial history reports functional capacity evaluations, nerve conduction studies, electromyelogram studies, impairment ratings.

Consult reference books for medical procedures and terminology, and keep a transcription log.

Trained and educated new transcriptionists to help them understand the specific work environment.

Interact with referring physician’s office, via telephone to ensure that correct information is placed in the patient’s permanent record, i.e., patient name, address, correct insurance information, patient allergies, maintain patient medical records, et cetera.
