I've recently attended Harold Washington College and Southern Illinois University. My major involves network infrastructure and computer science; my degree will consist of networking certifications as well as java coding. At Southern Illinois University, I was involved within the Black Male Initiative on campus; this encompasses a wide array of registered student organizations along with leadership roles on campus. We facilitated many events that consisted of speaking to high school students, participating in community Thanksgiving dinners, and also some work with St. Jude’s hospital. During my next few years, I am seeking to expand and grow as a person along with giving back. Apart from that I am also looking to fund and structure with others a Cyber Security consulting LLC to further my career in IT. I want to instill in others the knowledge that’s been ushered into me by many influential male role models during my lifetime. My most resilient characteristic trait is I am always willing to learn. There is no problem with me submitting to authority, and I have great follow through in whatever tasks are expected of me. I work well with others on team based projects as well as solo projects in the same atmosphere. I bring tremendous enthusiasm in my work and always look on ways to improve; I welcome critique as this is a way to better improve upon my ability to carry out my duties.
